Steel Plates/ Sheets
Stainless Steel 904L Plates are typically used for Seawater cooling
equipment, Chemical processing for sulphuric, phosphoric and acetic
acids, Gas washing, Condenser tubes, Control and instrumentation,
Heat exchangers and more. Alloy 904L Plates is also used in utility
scrubber assemblies, acid and fertilizer production equipment. SS
904l Plates are also used for Heat Exchanger, Control and

5. Stainless Steel 904L Welding
Grade 904L stainless steels also have excellent weldability which
can be performed using all conventional methods. This steel does
not require pre-heat and post-weld heat treatments.
Stainless Steel 904L Heat Resistance
The steel structure collapses only at a temperature above 400 C.
This grade of SS Plates gives the best oxidation resistance and has
the structural stability which usually collapses at high
temperatures like 400°C and above.
